I was born and raised in New Orleans. Graduated from the University of New Orleans with a degree in Finance. I worked at Whitney National Bank and several other financial institutions before getting my real estate license to have a more flexible schedule and become more involved with my 2 wonderful kids. Moved to the Atlanta area and continued in Real Estate. Returned to banking in 2016, as a consumer loan underwriter. I am glad to be back as a full-time agent and seizing on the opportunity to work with 1 Percent Lists and give my clients excellent service while saving them money in the process.
Real Estate for me is a passion right from the time I and my husband bought our first house in 2000. I just love to do home projects. From remodeling and adding new features to our home, I am the family’s home project manager and for over 10 years, I am also responsible for the management of our rental properties. So when I moved to Atlanta in 2020 from Indianapolis IN, I knew my time had come to finally follow my dream of becoming a Realtor so I started investing in myself by taking classes to become licensed in the state of Georgia and today I’m proud to be part of the 1 Percent Lists Family in Metro Atlanta.
Prior to receiving my Real Estate License, I committed myself to customer service in the procurement industry. I was an Inventory Administrator for 15 years and my past experiences as a seasoned customer service expert has taught me to be prepared for every challenge, and that for every challenge there is a solution. I prefer to think outside the box and find creative solutions.
As a GA State Real Estate SalesPerson who takes her fiduciary duty seriously, I will do everything possible to offer my client a superior personal service before, during and after every transaction, whether buying or selling their home. A NEW WAY
OF SELLING HOMES
Right around this time Amazon, Netflix, and other huge companies were acting as a hugely disruptive force in the areas of retail and entertainment. Their business models are extremely similar despite filling different needs. They seek to be very low cost, very low operative expenses, and high customer satisfaction.
Other companies followed suit throughout all forms of commerce and entertainment. It didn’t matter what service you needed or what product you wanted to purchase people were fighting to sell it to you faster, cheaper, and with a higher level of customer satisfaction. That is unless you needed real estate services.
Realizing this the decision was made in late 2015 to offer a low-cost solution to the general public and not make commission savings exclusive to only local builders. After countless hours spent examining real estate brokerage models, marketing and other costs, the idea was formed to list homes for only 1%.
Although there is no "set percentage", 1% is about 1/3rd of the traditional listing fee. We knew we could offer a high level of customer service and marketing for about 1/3rd of the typical Realtor listing fees as long as we focused on those same principles as the other successful companies mentioned earlier, but this time a disruptive change in real estate. We had to increase our sales volume, but more importantly, we had to retain a high level of customer satisfaction.
With those goals in mind, 1 Percent Lists was formed.
